Why are contributions handled this way?

We are bootstrapping the project and accepting contributions via a personal UPI account for the pilot. We are actively working with lawyers to set up a formal Trust — once we reach 100 contributors we will move funds into a dedicated Trust account and publish audited statements. All contributions are logged in our system and reconciled against bank receipts daily to maintain transparency.
